The second week of school vacation involved a visit to the Alps for a week of skiing in Méribel, one of three ski hills that make up les trois vallées. Snowfall was minimal, and temperatures rose to 18°C rendering one day null, however we were lucky to have good conditions at the beginning and end of the week.

Mont Blanc – at 4808m Mont Blanc is the highest peak in the Alps, and the second-highest in Europe after the Caucasus Mountains.

It was quite difficult to catch La Patrouille de France‘s Aerial Show in photos, however the mountainside provided a nice white background that highlighted their blue, white and red smoke streams nicely:
